Bohol Trip - Feb 2008 (7 of 7)

Bohol Trip with ex-officemates. Seventh chapter is back to manila. We made it! A little credits in the end. Youtube actually e-mailed me about using the music video of sarah bareilles at the end, but sony bmg allows anyone who wants to use that music video. Hehe. Thanks to that!

Bohol Trip - Feb 2008 (6 of 7)

Bohol Trip with ex-officemates. Sixth chapter is being stranded in bohol. First part is our pictures on the virgin islands and panglao beach. The second part is being stranded in bohol. Our ferry back to Cebu was cancelled. We waited for 5 hours for a boat that was not going to arrive. We opted to buy new tickets for a much much slower ferry that would take us to Cebu at 3am the next day. Our flight to manila was 6:15am. Will me make it??

Bohol Trip - Feb 2008 (4 of 7)

Bohol trip with ex-officemates. Fourth chapter is Ze beach! The start of this chapter is the continuation of our pigging out in the floating restaurant. Then we visited the local indigenous tribe in bohol. Then we went to this cave with fake paintings on the wall. Then we went to the great beach! We were super excited about this… at least I was.

Bohol Trip - Feb 2008 (5 of 7)

Bohol trip with ex-officemates. Fifth chapter is the dolphins! Just be patient, I didn’t edit out the parts where there are no dolphins. Hehe.

Bohol Trip - Feb 2008 (3 of 7)

Bohol trip with ex-officemates. Third chapter is tarsier time. We have a message for you Ken. Poor little tarsiers… then we went to this floating restaurant and ate our hearts out.

Bohol Trip - Feb 2008 (2 of 7)

Bohol trip with ex-officemates. Second chapter is the chocolate hills part! Where I forced everyone to sing “the hills are alive with the sound of music”, then we sang “like a bridge over troubled water” on a hanging bridge

Bohol Trip - Feb 2008 (1 of 7)

Bohol trip with ex-officemates. I just got my video camera back from Canon service center. I spent 2000php all in all for the repair. Hence, I was only able to finish this little movie that I made. I cut it into 7 parts because youtube allows only 10minutes per video upload. It’s actually over an hour video and picture compilation of the whole trip. (all my videos are accessible via my youtube channel at: www.youtube.com/chesnutsy)
This first chapter is when we landed in cebu, then took a ferry to bohol, then visiting the local bohol blacksmiths. It’s like mordor! Hehe.

The Resigness at Redbox

10000 BC

Rating:★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Action & Adventure
Just seen it. I also sort of liked it, but my comments won’t really say anything about me liking it. Just remember that I’ve said that I liked it. Hehe. Comments start now..

Wait, I’m not sure with what movie should I compare it with. It’s the kind of movie that’s got a little bit of everything.

Need a troy-like love story that would wage-war? Check!

Need cheesy “my –love-won’t-change” line? Check! A first for tribesmen in the world of Hollywood! This is the cheesiest ever!

How about a King Leonidas spear throwing scene at the pharaoh? Check! King Leonidas would be so proud!

Or the Aragorn-like tracking your enemies through New Zealand terrain? Double check! They even survived the cold mountains and fiery desert with so little supplies of food! Wow! Legolas would be impressed.

Also the Apocalypto-like kidnapping of your tribesmen? – double check

And of course let’s not forget D’leh’s independence day “let’s fight as one”speech! – check of course! D’leh could run for president!

tribesmen wearing dreadlocks!! – check! (I was half expecting Jason Castro—American Idol contestant, to be one of the tribesmen!! )

tribesmen speaking really good English! – check! – this is actually a first! I’ve never seen any sort of ethnic tribes in movies that speak English.. lo and behold the English speaking cavemen will LEAD all the colored people to battle.

Really small world – it was great how a couple of tribesmen were able to travel ON FOOT from the snowing poles to the desert. Wo-ow!

Prophecies – no unrealistic epic would exist without it!

Again, I am confused with the goal of this movie. Is it a love story? Historical epic? I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if they had more of the ancient extinct Ice Age animals. I was misled into thinking that this movie would be about the man and the saber tooth. Anyway, I guess if I had not seen Apocalypto or 300, may be, I would have thoroughly enjoyed this film. (but I’m still going to hate the ending where the old-lady gave her life to evolet.. more into that later.) Apocalypto was better by a mile. I can’t help but compare because the main theme of both movies are the same. A far superior civilization captures and enslaves the weaker tribes. Apocalypto was heart wrenching.

Okay, as for the love story. I think the whole movie really is about the love of D’leh and Evolet. I’m sure everyone would agree with that. Even the all prophecies in the movie talk of Evolet as the SIGN/MARK and D’leh as the hunter. It‘s basically the whole point of D’leh crossing all that terrain, to save his one and only love Evolet. (by the way, the girl’s wearing blue contacts. =) What’s great about the love story is that, both actors were HOT! D’leh was smokin’, with his TAN and weird accent! Really fierce! And not a spot of scar or mark on his well toned body. As for our princess. The blue eyes were a real contrast to her Latin American looks. I thought it looked good on her. I don’t know if she looked like Elizabeth Taylor or Jojo. Wait, I’m talking about the love story, okay back to the point. It’s love at first sight right? They fell in love when they first saw each other? Or was it when D’leh told her about that Northern star? I don’t know.. but it just comes down to the setting. How in the world can a caveman be THAT cheesy? That’s that. It was too cheesy. I would’ve liked it if D’leh had been a man of few words. Like his love for Evolet would be expressed only by his actions. By his unwavering resolve to save her and fight for her no matter what. Cause for me, it’s like he stole her heart even before fighting that mammoth, which was unfair to Evolet and to whomever would have won. (but not too primitive like.. “Evolet, Let’s make babies! Now! ” hehe) Anyway, I’m reading too much into it. I just thought that since their life was too simple, the romance would not be that cheesy. But who knows? May be d’leh was Shakespeare’s ancestor. Still, really, I liked the love story. I love sappy unrealistic overly cheesy I-want-to-gag-on-it love stories!

Enough of that, the ending. OMG. Major disappointment. They should’ve let evolet die! Before the event happened, I whispered to my cousin as a joke.. “the old woman’s going to give her spirit to the girl”. We both laughed at the thought! We knew it was too ridiculous to happen, and yet, IT DID! I could sign up as prophet for this film.

All I’ve done so far was give sarcastic comments on the stuff I’ve noticed on the movie. I know, I should cut it some slack. It is a fictional movie. It’s okay that the world’s so unbelievably small. Is it worth watching? Yes. Go ahead and watch it. The story’s not that great, but it was fun to see all that CG saber tooth and mammoth. My favorite part would be when they started the riot to free up all the slaves. I loved that part when d’leh was taunting the mammoth, then all the slaves just started to battle! Fantastic scene. Yes, although I was making fun of this movie all through out, I think it’s still worth watching, if only for the CG animals. Oh yes, I liked the love story, but my love story standards are very low.. so.. hehe. Go ahead! Get your 10000 BC worth of fun and excitement!

The Other Boleyn Girl

Rating:★★★★
Category:Books
Genre: Literature & Fiction
Author:Philippa Gregory
The Other Boleyn girl is the story of Anne Boleyn and the untold fictional story of Mary Boleyn. Anne Boleyn is the second wife of King Henry VIII and mother to Queen Elizabeth I, England’s greatest queen. The story is told from Mary’s point of view. How she started as an innocent courtier in service of Queen Katherine. How she became the mistress of King Henry, because of her family’s ambitions. This was a time in England where they gambled and exchanged wives and mistresses like the women were mere commodities. Mary was then the favorite of the King. But with Anne’s charm, wit and talent the King was immediately besotted with her. When Mary was giving birth to her second child with the King, Anne entrapped him with her charms.

Once the King got tired of Mary, Anne was the new favorite. He doted on her like a king might dote upon a queen. Anne would not however allow the king to taint her virtue before marriage; this led to the king asking for permission from the Pope. When the pope would not accept such annulment, King Henry VIII decided to separate England from the ruling of the pope and establish the new Church of England. He was able to invalidate his first marriage and declare Anne as queen.
Mary on the other hand was a country girl by heart. In the beginning of the book when she was first sent to Hever Castle, she immediately loved the peace and quiet brought by the country. Mary’s children Catherine and Henry were both raised in Hever castle. Mary was allowed to visit her children only once a year, during summer. After the death of her first husband William Carrey, Mary fell in love with William Stafford. William was a commoner, and they married without her family knowing about it. When Queen Anne then found out, she banned Mary from court and separated her from her children.

Queen Anne after her coronation gave birth to princess Elizabeth (who will later be Queen Elizabeth I). Henry was not happy about another female child. He wanted a male heir to the throne. Thus there was a huge anxiety on Anne carrying a new child. When Anne missed her monthly courses, she pardoned Mary and allowed her to return to court with her husband. Queen Anne had her first miscarriage, a start of several that both Mary and George (their brother) would help keep in secret. Meanwhile the King’s attention was now wavering to another young lady in waiting, Jane Seymour. Like Anne herself, she knew that the only way to get the King’s favor was to bore him a son. It was the sort of implied in the book that George and Anne had sex in order to for Anne to produce an heir. This final miscarriage was seen in public. The baby was deformed, and thus an accused selling her soul to the devil and becoming a witch.

King Henry decided to set up a hidden trial on the crimes of George and Anne Boleyn. In the book, Mary was still in court, and she was able to escape questioning. George and Anne where both beheaded for treason, adultery and incest. Mary returned to her country home in Rochford and lived happily with her husband and children.

Reading the summary would be as good as just reading a historical summary of what really happened to Anny Boleyn and Mary Boleyn. The book just gave us a behind-the-scenes view on what was happening that was not seen by the public. How the politics and rise to power ruled over the lives of the Boleyns and Howards.
Anne Boleyn here was portrayed as a very ambitious and powerful queen. She never stopped being charming, witty and seductive. You would only see her feel tired and stressed out behind closed doors. Mary and George were the ever faithful supporters of the cause. The rise of Anne meant the rise of the Boleyn to power. Also shown is how Anne had to bear the King Henry a child, how she struggled with carrying the child and still please the King. The King was a huge spoilt fat child whose attention easily wavered.

Anne may have gotten her power from the King’s wavering idleness, but in the end, this became the cause of her demise and fall. It was fun to read about her selfishness and weakness at the same time. Also, the temper that she could not contain may have caused her all the miscarriages. It was difficult for her to rest while also looking at all the ladies in waiting trying to snatch away her king. And yet every day, was still as stunning and afforded to laugh at any jest. In the end, when the king found out that she was a barren woman who could not carry a child, he immediately ordered for her execution.

Although in the end, it is shown how Mary lived happily with her husband and family, it was sad to see Anne die. She didn’t even speak to Mary until the very end and it was sad that she was betrayed by the King about the annulment. But, the whole book seemed to really come together to this point. The punishment of Anne Boleyn for all the evil deeds she’s done throughout the book. She was never portrayed as nice, kind or endearing and yet she still got what she wanted. It’s as if the book showed that Anne’s rise and fall was justified.

I can’t believe I’ve actually finished reading this book. I swear, I felt like I was reading it forever. That’s what you get when you’ve spend money on books. You really really must read them now. This book is not the kind of book that I’d probably read again in the next decade or so. After my relief of finishing the book, I was of course sad. Like, other good books, this book had left a mark on me and got me interested in the English monarchy. The Tudor period in particular. Yes, later I am going to watch Elizabeth I, just after reading about her mother. Well, it also helped that Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Eric Bana were on the cover of the book. I’m now wondering if the movie’ll be as good as the book?

Still... It was very good read! I was crying on the execution part! hehe

Jeux D'Enfants (Love Me, If You Dare)

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Certainly my MOST FAVORITE CHICK FLICK to date.

Starring:
Marion Cotillard – Sophie Kowalsky (She’s the girl who won best actress in this year’s Oscars)
Guillaume Canet -- Julien Janvier (He’s the guy from the Beach, Leo’s French friend ).

Chick flick alert, but a different kind of chick-flick. This French flick actually reminds me of that overly overrated Korean Movie .. My Sassy Girl. The film starts when they were both kids, having kids issues and they suddenly invented this game. The rules were simple, they had this cylindrical tin can as a price, and whoever gets to do the other person’s dare would win the tin can. Simple enough? Yes it was, when they were kids. It was fun watching kids do really delinquent stuff and still get away with it at the end of the day. Of course, one day they had to grow up and the dares became perverse and in a way cruel. This was one of the most cruel romantic comedy movies I’ve seen so far. It also, kind of reminded me of Amelie, where the metaphors just suddenly brings us to this visual world of unrealism. (Where julien suddenly flies on fake clouds.) The dares they did when they grew up really hurt each other. To the point where they didn’t know if their love is real of just part of the game. It's quite immature and surreal, this'd never really happen in real life. It’s not all drama and stuff. It’s very very hmm.. bittersweet.

Cap ou pas cap? -- they always said this line at the start of a dare. It was really fun to see how far they’d go for a dare!! Like their life depended on it. I loved the slap dare in particular.

La vie en rose – this was the main musical theme of this movie. You’d hear every kind of version or cover of this song through out the film.

The yellow view – i don’t know what to call this but, it seems that most French films love using this “yellow view”, like the whole scenery was yellow. I don’t know.

The end – very very weird ending for me. Hmm. It was said that the ending would depend on your mood when watching thefilm. It’s like a choose your own adventure sort of ending. It may be frustrating for some, while some are satisfied with it. I prefer the bittersweet end, where they... got..

Finale thoughts – I really really nice unique film. I still can’t get La vie en rose out of my head!! I loved everything about it, the uncertainty, the weird ending and the virtual reality of it all. It’s not your typical feel good movie. But you will certainly feel good about Guillaume Canet, I thought he was hot here. Marion Coutillard was great too. I think she was better at Sophie! Haha. (That’s why i also had to watch La vie en Rose afterwards.) I’m still addicted to it, and I wouldn’t mind watching it a hundred times over.

Short Summary bellow: (Warning if you have not seen the film, please refrain from reading the synopsis below!!)

Julien (at 8), had issues of his own, his mom was dying of some sickness i forgot to catch. Sophie(also at 8) on the other hand was a Polack, which in that time, as much as today, is a race being discriminated. They instantly became friends the moment the game started. The dares started from, Julien letting the school bus drive away with all the kids in it. Sophie, answering the teachers with “bitch”.. big-dick, boner.

A turning point was when Julien’s mom died. Julien’s dad who hated Sophie ask if she could sleep over. They did that for ten years and where easily best friends. Sophie made Julien promise not to come to her place. Julien’s dad really hated Sophie’s guts and made Julien choose between Sophie and himself. Julien went to Sophie’s place without permission and she got angry. They met up again after 4 years , Sophie finally forgiving Julien. After parting, Julien confessed his love but Sophie had to say goodbye, saying that Julien could never hurt her.

After how many years again (don’t know), Sophie’s working at a coffee shop and Julien visits her. He invites her for dinner (at the cost of removing his pants and shoes in public). Then asked sophie to attend his marriage. Sophie will be his chief witness. He asked like he was proposing, then whispered to Sophie that He could hurt her. On the wedding day, Sophie appeared and ruined it of course. The next dare was that they should not meet after 10 years.

After 10 years, we see Julien with the family and a good stable job. The kind of man his dad wanted him to be. But he was living a bland life. Sophie on the otherhand became this trophy wife to a very famous football player. Sophie sent the tin can to Julien and the game was on again. She trashed her place and said that julien did it. The police raced after him. This brought pure unadulterated joy to Julien. He was back in the game. Then an accident happened. They met up in the hospital, Sophie thought he died. She came back afterwards after this weird love connection they did. Suddenly they were in front of the hospital with Julien singing La Vie En Rose to Sophie. They reconciled. Then the last dare was to.. (wait do you really want to know? If you have not watched the film it will really really spoil you!!).. burry themselves in cement. That’s what they did. That’s how they died.

Danny Noriega says thanks

This is Danny Noriega, the dude that got kicked out of Idol. He’s saying thanks to all of his fans. I’m not a fan, but he’s quite interesting, with his head bobbing attitude. This mostly goes to my cousin who’s probably going to add danny to her myspace account. You know who you are! I gotta put this out soon… I’ll give it a week or so..

The Unbearable Lightness of Being

Rating:★★★★
Category:Books
Genre: Literature & Fiction
Author:Milan Kundera
I certainly did not expect this book to be this kind of book. It was way too intellectual for me. I was never updated with all the revolutionary invasions happening in the Czech Republic and Soviet Russia, I don’t know anything about exitensialism, I didn’t know the story of Oedipus (I just know the Oedipus complex), I am not familiar with Beethoven music.. I probably would have recognized a tune or two but to know the titles?? Not me! I don’t know the concept of kitch, I don’t know how Communism really works, I have a vague idea, but not the real deal. (Really? Do I know anything at all?)

Given that state of mind, that’s how I started when I began reading the book. The unbearable lightness of being does not delve much into the plot, but on the reflections on each though or movement of each character. It’s like the plot is just a way for you to know the four major characters in this book. Stripped of the thoughts and reflections on lightness and heaviness, the plot would be as simple as.. “I walked down the street and bought groceries.” That’s how simple it was. Halfway through the book you’ll already know what becomes of our protagonists, but you’ll read it not for what will happen, but what were they thinking before it happened? Where they happy?

I’ve never cried for an animal dying in any kind of book. But I cried for Karenin here, the dog of Tomas and Tereza. It was, I think the saddest part of the book.
Also while reading the book, I felt like watching a French art film. Why? Because for every thing that happens there’s this whole virtual metaphor explaining what’s happened. There’s this metaphor feast in terms of Tereza’s dreams or sometimes Tomas’ thoughts and comparisons. But as a read them all, everything became more and more interesting. All these thoughts and points of view are new to me.
What is the unbearable lightness of being? The author says that we only have one life. So every decision that we make is inexperienced. And we’ll never know if that decision we made is the right one because we do not have a different life to compare it to. Every moment only happens once. Then he compares heaviness with lightness . Heaviness in an image of life’s intense fulfillment while the absence of weight/heaviness let’s man be free. He becomes light, insignificant, meaningless. Thus is unbearable to live only one life and have this lightness making your one life insignificant.

I’ve also liked how the author compared the life of Oedipus in the story. The set is the Russians are invading Prague. Much like in the Marcos regime, there were so many political prisoners. The free thinkers and journalists were thrown in prison. The Intellectuals where stripped of their jobs. Everyone had to be very careful on what they said, if you make the slightest error, it’ll be your demise. But to the communists, they think that mean well for the people. They do not believe that they are making the people suffer. They are just trying to make the world a better place, a place with equality and happiness.

So, back to Oedipus, in a nutshell, he was the king of Thebes. Oedipus’ story was that he killed his father and married his mother (had four children with her) without knowing about it. Then a plague came, and they found out his true origins. He could not bear what he’d done so he blinded himself and when to the forest and soon died. His mom, also killed herself. The question is , should he punish himself? Even if he didn’t know that it was his father that he killed and mother that he loved? They even compared this to what Jesus said upon crucifixion, “Forgive them, for they do not what they are doing”. It was said in t he book, that you still have to take responsibility, like the communists, they should not hide behind their ignorance. And yet, punishing the ignorant is also barbaric!
I forgot to mention the other two characters, Sabina and Franz. All in all, it was a very short book, it got a little boring, but all the ideas, some a blasphemous, are very interesting and intriguing. I think I’m going to watch the movie!

Short Summary:
Tomas a womanizer falls in love with Tereza. Although still not abandoning his womanizing ways they married. Prague turmoil starts so they move to Switzerland. Tereza could not bear it there so she goes back to Prague, Tomas follows. Tomas then writes this article attacking the communist and lost his job as a surgeon because of it. He started washing windows and Tereza worked as a bar tender. In the end, they moved to the country and found true love. Although they both died in a car accident.

Sabina, on of Tomas’ lovers is a painter. She started from Prague, moved to Switzerland where she met Franz, moved to Paris and then to America. Her life is a life of unending betrayals. When Franz finally left his wife for Sabina, she left him alone.

maroon 5 concert manila - sweetest goodbye

Parting is such sweet sorrow! The taking of Adam’s lips! Oh What’s in the name? at which we call a rose.. The final song of the marvelous night! Never leave me behind, or treat me unkind…. Adieu Adam! Oh forgiveth me, for my insolent admiration! Thou shalt remain in my untainted heart, wilst thy took and now, I am an empty shell, a person who only lives on the memory of thine voice, thine smile… a person, grieving for the loss so great, it’s pure a torture, crippling my heart…. Until, until.. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE COMES TO MANILA! HAHAHAHAHA! (so don’t give away… my love.. my love..)

maroon 5 concert manila - wake up call

Wake up from your Adam induced euphoria! Wake up from the dream! I swear, I think they slipped something on the smoke on the stage… I swear, I felt like I was punch, drunk, love after the concert! Hehe.

maroon 5 concert manila - secret

Secret. Everyone has a secret.. oh can they keep it? Blimey! Bloody hell! Even if Adam Levine just kept singing.. “Oh, oh, oh, oh” a million times.. it’d still be fun!!

maroon 5 concert manila - the sun

Open up the sky! Let the sun shine through. Maroon 5’s rocking the house down! They just love all these little sound and voice interludes. They do this for every song! And you’ll hear that shrill shouting.. I swear! That wasn’t me!

maroon 5 concert manila - little of your time

I just need, a little of your time, a little of your time. Adam did a little body shake. Hehe. Cute. This is a little shaky video. Really, can’t blame anyone if we want to shake a little. Hohoho.

maroon 5 concert manila - shiver

Shiver. A brief summary of what all the women felt like that night in araneta. Loved the little guitar exhibition he did at the end. I think he KNOWS that he’s hot. (who in the world does NOT?) I’ve also chopped this song into several small parts. Who wouldn’t shiver now? Huh? Huh?

maroon 5 concert manila - if i never see your face again

First mind blowing song of the mind blowing night that is the mind blowing maroon 5 concert! It’s like putting your “it won’t be soon before long” album on your CD player for the first time! No, not really, not the same thing if Adam Levine’s not there singing it. He should be dancing, I think it would be absolutely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious if he started dancing. What kind of dance? A little stripper dance would do fine. Hehe. Sorry, I about focus and I was a little off and I’ve cut the song into several sections. Oh well, I could watch this on mute and be fine with it! Just kidding.

maroon 5 concert manila - harder to breathe

Harder to breathe while Adam’s moving around too much.. hehe. Aww.. he comes really really close to the camera this time. First song of the first album. Third song of the night. See? If I’m not describing Adam’s overly handsome features, I’m just listing down boring facts about the song. Really? You want to read the boring facts? Maroon 5 was a blast!! Blast!! A Blast indeed!

maroon 5 concert manila - adam counting

Adam counts in Filipino(tagalog). Isa, Dalawa, Tatlo, Apat! Really, Adam, I’ll teach you Apat and beyond! hihihihi

maroon 5 concert manila - this love

I know, you’re really tired of hearing this overly covered song.. to many times before… oh oh But, oH Holy molly! When the intro freakin started! Adrenaline rush baby! It’s like, I’ve never heard this song before! Adam just has that effect on me. On women. I bet all the women that night were just squirming with delight! Hohoho. I did not recognize the chaos that controlled my mind..
The night just wouldn’t be complete without this song. This Love. If you’re really tired of the song, just put it on mute and just enjoy Adam jumpin around.

maroon 5 concert manila - makes me wonder

It really makes me wonder..why am I just viewing adam Levine? Really it’s just fantastique! This is the second song from the concert. I’m not going to upload chronologically… what can anyone say? It was just an awesome night! I liked adam’s haircut. Haha. Okay back to maroon5, yes people this was the maroon5 concert in manila. And they performed Makes me Wonder. Adam was of course, adorable. I mean, the band was superb. Adam was sweating.. wait no, the BAND played well.. ah.. just watch and see!
Give me something to believe in, cause I don’t believe in you anymore! Why why are you so cute? Still love this funky song! Yeah, let’s all dance to it people!

maroon 5 concert manila - she will be loved

Another memory song. This song had been covered in most concerts or tv shows, when it was super popular! But NOTHING NOTHING beats the real deal! She will be loved. Real tight! started with this solemn guitar intro.. loved it! I loved HIS voice! The song! The set! The sound! Oh and how he holds on to that mic..tight!
But, it’s not always rainbows and butterflies.. its compromise! What I missed capturing on this video, was Adam saying.. “Mahal Kita!” I think he just learned it.. he said it like.. “mahalKita” like it was just one word. It’s so cute, so funny, so awww, I’m just melting now.. just melting! Je’taime Adam!
It’s funny, cause he’s not even telling the people to sing. It’s like a Maroon 5 concert AND company! Everyone was unforgivably singing! I also love the shoulder thing, like Adam was crunching up his shoulders on the higher notes.

maroon5 concert manila - won't go home without you

Yeah! Maroon5! Adam Levine, up close and personal!! I so won’t go home without you! Take me with you! Look at his arms! He’s soo buff! Here I thought he was this skinny little guy.. boy was I surprised! And look at his partially shaven face.. heck I didn’t even know he had a tattoo! Wait, no guys, this is a Maroon5 concert!! Not an Adam Levine solo.. hehe. Sorry, my camera just automatically zooms in on Adam’s face.. don’t know what’s wrong with it..hehe. In the later part of the video.. where everyone starts singing the song… you’ll only hear FEMALE voices!! Bwahaha! Really, it helps in ticket sales if the lead vocalist is SUCH a hottie. We’re not close enough! I need to see his sweat!
